We are recruiting a Front Office Supervisor to join our vibrant team!

InterContinental Malta is looking for a charming and confident individual who will go the extra mile to exceed guest expectations.

As Front Office Supervisor, you must have a good knowledge of front office operations, to lead our Front Office team whilst duty. You will be responsible to supervise the reception team, whilst ensuring they deliver an outstanding service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily front office operations, ensuring seamless and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Lead and mentor front desk staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Supervise and manage the room allocation process, ensuring guest preferences, VIP arrivals, and special requests are met.
  • Monitor room availability and optimize allocation to maximize hotel occupancy and revenue.
  • Collaborate with the other departments to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues with professionalism, and ensure personalized experiences for all guests.
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure regular and VIP guests are recognized, and the Front Office team promotes the hotel’s loyalty scheme.
  • Use upselling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.
  • Ensure adherence to Hotel policies and procedures especially related to Front Office.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in hotel front office operations or a similar role, ideally in a 5 star hotel or luxury environment.
  • Must be fluent in English and ideally other languages including French and Italian.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with hotel booking systems and room management software.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating unforgettable guest memories. 
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
