Your Day to Day
As a Sous Chef, you will work alongside the Chef de Cuisine to manage the daily operations of our kitchen. Your role will involve overseeing food preparation and presentation, leading a dedicated team of culinary professionals, and ensuring that every dish meets the high standards expected in a five-star setting. Your passion for creating exceptional dishes and your leadership skills will be key to the success of our dining experiences.
You will also be responsible to:
- Assist the Chef de Cuisine in managing all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish served
- Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment, ensuring adherence to all food safety and hygiene standards
- Contribute to the creation and execution of seasonal menus and special dishes. Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine to innovate and enhance the culinary offerings
What We Need From You
Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred
- Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of modern and classical cooking techniques
- Creative flair and passion for crafting exceptional and innovative dishes
- Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
