Every plate has the potential to create a memory that lasts a lifetime for our guests. To deliver all this and more, we’re looking for a Cook / Demi Chef with a passion for presentation, dedication to flavour and commitment to setting high standards from workspace to table and beyond.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
As a Demi Chef, you’ll prepare an array of dishes catering for all restaurants & bars, room service and banquets. Your culinary passion and creativity will flow through into your presentation and you’ll pride yourself on delivering a fantastic culinary experience for guests, with an emphasis on maintaining hygienic standards and consistency. You’ll also support and supervise Commis Chefs, Cooks, Kitchen Attendants and/or Apprentice Chefs with support from other kitchen leaders.
What We need from you:
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as a Chef with a passion for culinary arts and demonstrated experience in a supervisory or management capacity
- Qualifications in Commercial Cookery/Culinary Arts from a registered training provider
- Flexibility – night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job
- Strong organisational, written and communication skills along with strong attention to detail
- Ability to inspire passion, enthusiasm and positivity in the team to drive an engaged, winning culture.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload
- Look smart – wear your uniform with pride and adhere to personal grooming and hygiene standards
- Food Safety Supervisor Certification, as required by local law
