Senior Finance Systems Support Specialist
The position is responsible for supporting finance systems in Greater China. This role includes vendor management, case management, providing support to hotel finance and corporate users and reporting to relevant business owners. Ongoing responsibilities are to ensure the system development/enhancement activities are consistent with established standard and project timeline, to provide troubleshooting support, and to ensure effective and efficient BAU system upgrade and maintenance tasks.
Your day to day
- Managing multiple priorities, projects and responsibilities.
- Ensure adherence to agreed RACI’s with all associated stakeholders for agreed support and project related activities
- Leading the implementation of application upgrades, customizations and enhancements with Global Technology team
- Managing local system vendors for system related issues and resolution
- Responsible for managing the system support cases in ServiceNow and Rescue, and to identify root cause of the issue and resolve for IHG Finance system.
- Coordination with Local IT teams for Performance related issues and resolution.
- Work with other business teams as needed and provide guidance and support to people for both at the hotel and who those working with system externally and internally.
- Planning and conducting training/workshops facing both hotel users and corporate users.
- Managing all audit queries related to the systems in the scope
What we need from you
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
- 5+ years experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/processes related to the position including data processing in a multi-platform environment
- 5+ years coordinating and supporting IT projects/system and/or supporting IT system
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English language.
- Basic understanding of Network, Data Server and IT infrastructure to coordinate on Performance related issues if required.
- Good sense of logic
