Regional Director of Development - Southeast
Your day to day
- Execute a regional development plan for assigned brands to maximize distribution, drive earnings, and enhance shareholder value. Achieve annual growth quotas and implement strategies to improve underperforming results.
- Prospect and negotiate specialized franchise sales deals in assigned territories. Leverage knowledge of key owners and developers while researching related industries (e.g. office, retail, etc.) to identify emerging markets and opportunities.
- Assist in developing short and long term franchise acquisition and disposition strategies within the assigned territory, ensuring alignment with brand growth and profitability. Prepare annual business plans to support development activities.
- Engage with investment groups, financial institutions, and individual investors to build a network, foster relationships for deal leads, and stay informed on hotel development opportunities in the market.
What we need from you
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Hotel Management or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
- Experience in franchise sales and/or development, with proficiency in various relevant disciplines as well as managing complex projects, typically in hotel operations or a similar field.
- Project management experience in organizing, planning and executing large-scale financial and sales projects from conception through implementation.
- Business/financial negotiation and influencing/consensus building skills
- Ability to understand financial structures and deal valuation concepts
- Knowledge and understanding of effective sales and marketing strategies
Travel - 60 - 70%
Location – If remote: **Candidate must reside in the Southeastern United States or be willing to relocate*** OR if Atlanta based, our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
The salary range for this role is $100,000.00 to $115,000.00 plus commission. This role is also eligible for bonus pay (as applicable). We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
