Human Resources Manager, Hotel Openings
Oversee and provide functional direction and guidance for pre-opening hotels to facilitate a smooth hotel opening and transition into operations; i.e.. Serve as the Human Resources business partner for the Greater China Hotel Openings team, accountable for the delivery of Human Resources plans and systems to support the successful opening of new hotels in Greater China.
Your day to day
•Work with HLG team to provide effective planning and communication to understand business issues and the integration of short and long-term Human Resources plans for all new hotels
•Develop a strategy to ensure all new hotels in Greater China have the right people and Human Resources systems to successfully open the hotels.
•Work with the Operation Team and Talent Resourcing Manager to identify General Manager candidates; liaise as necessary with hotel owners on the appointment of General Managers to new hotels.
•Maintain and update the Human Resources and Training sections of the hotel pre-opening kit, with appropriate input and collaboration with the broader Human Resources Team.
•Provide effective support to the new opening hotels in terms of:
i.Hotel Excom members selection
ii.Hotel manning, salary range and compensation & benefits guidelines
iii.Hotel human resources and training pre-opening activities plan
iv.Any human resources and training related issues
What we need from you
- At least 5 years experience in human resources or related
- Experienced in working with key stakeholders including senior executives and hotel owners
- Good English and Mandarin speaking and writing skills
