Role Summary
Lead a support service team of content managers and curators, who’s sole responsibility is to look after the end-to-end lifecycle management of visual assets and content, across the IHG ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience providing stakeholder support services for DAM and PIM systems and optimizing existing services to improve user experience or introduce new innovation. Candidate must possess infallible technical organization skills and understand how to communicate with and manage a team. Candidate will track and actively improve upon a range of key metrics in order to grow our organization’s content development capabilities. Candidate will reporting to the Global Head of Content.
Responsibilities
Oversee a team of Content Curators (Managers) responsible for end-to-end lifecycle management and administration of visual assets and product content, including:
- Oversee end-to-end lifecycle management of assets.
- Reviewing workflow submissions; accepting, routing and rejecting. Suggest optimizations for forward improvement.
- Help train new and existing users; Periodically on-board third-party external users.
- Governance enforcement of data and file standards.
- Perform manual corrections and light editorial to submitted content, when necessary.
- Granting and supporting “process exceptions” when needed.
- Create new fields, classes, objects, entities as needed; improve data classifications and associations between content types.
- Perform and audit quality control.
- Manage access and permissions for platform user accounts.
- Manage data classifications and associations between content types.
- Enforce the governance of data requirements and file standards; work with core team to continuously improve governance policy.
- Provide occasional ‘white glove’ services for exec leadership and bespoke Corp requests.
- Work with platform and tech support leads to contribute to policy and operations.
- Hires, trains, and manages staff. Establishes performance goals and objectives.
- Provides on-going professional guidance and direction to direct reports.
- Conducts annual performance appraisals and recommends salary action.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of direct experience in digital asset management and/or distribution platforms, such as DAM, PAM, PIM, MDM, CMS/WCM, and others.
- 3+ years experience managing teams or direct reports.
- Knowledge of modern multimedia file formats, including those for still images, moving images, audio, graphics, and interactive content.
- Expertise with metadata management.
- Skill with project management solutions.
- Advanced writing and editing skills; excellent verbal and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of current tools and industry trends in content management, with an emphasis on e-comm and marcom applications (both informational and transactional).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing people.
- Hospitality industry experience a plus, but not required.
Essential Duties
- Work directly with business partners to determine and fully understand business objectives and necessary deliverables.
- Analyze customer feedback, business strategies, objectives and system/application architecture to determine technical and process requirements.
- Learn the operational requirements of the new content management platform and all its constituent dependencies, as well as those that created it.

The salary range for this role is $58,834 to $140,000. This is the lowest to highest pay scale we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
**This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
