Risk Intelligence Analyst

Your day to day

• Monitor and analyze transactional reports daily to identify suspicious activities, mitigate fraud, and provide actionable intelligence.
• Collect and synthesize data from various sources, delivering meaningful insights, forecasts, and recommendations on fraud trends and operational improvements.
• Produce regular and ad hoc reports, including verbal updates, to support Risk Owners and Teams Leads/Managers in addressing emerging fraud threats.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including IHG teams, hotels, and third-party providers, to confirm fraudulent transactions and enhance fraud prevention measures.
• Support the development of Fraud Dashboards and optimize Fraud Data Analytics (FDA) capabilities to detect and address fraud patterns effectively.

What we need from you

• Education: BS in Statistics, BS in Economics or equivalent work-related experience.
• Experience: Proven background in Fraud Detection and Investigation, preferably in the hotel/hospitality sector with a focus on Loyalty Programmes.
• Skills: Basic understanding of Fraud Risk Management principles, Intelligence Processes, and Analysis Processes.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Excel and Data Analysis
• Soft Skills: Mental Toughness, Grit, Self-starter, Agile 
• Communication: Superior written and verbal communication abilities in English.
