We are seeking a passionate Events Coordinator who can combine informality and fun with professionalism and sophistication, leaders with an inclusive spirit who embrace individuality and inject positivity into their work environments.

Your day to day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
Create proposals, negotiate sales prices and secure conference and event business within booking guidelines
Follow up on requests received from clients to ensure the client receives a response within 24 hours
Ensure the whole client experience is successful and memorable and act as the brand ambassador and key contact throughout their journey
Build long term relationships with planners and hosts to increase loyalty to the hotel and to the brand
Ensure timely payment of deposits for events
Prepare BEO’s and participate in the weekly BEO meeting to ensure the hotel team have necessary information to deliver a successful event
Ensure all systems are updated and accurate
What we need from you
For you to be the ideal candidate, you should have the following:
Excellent written, verbal communication and organisational skills.
1 years’ experience in hospitality industry
The ability to co-ordinate with other department heads to ensure quality of guest/group satisfaction.
Experience with building relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders
A well-developed commercial acumen.
To work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards and attention to detail.
To possess excellent research skills and analytical abilities.
To demonstrate collaboration with other departments.
