To perform the role as TMS Project management specialist to participates in project process reviews and provide recommendations to ensure processes, systems and documentation meet changing business conditions and/or requirements. Ensure that projects meet established quality standards and requirements and are implemented as planned. Responsible for organizing projects, evaluations of project feasibility. Act as a Brand Hearted catalyst for organizational change process management and plays a leading role in promoting the IHG Ways of Working around our Winning Ways, Room to be yourself, and align with our Company Vision and Purposes to deliver our Product & Technology Brand Standards through our people in a responsible way.
Your day to day
- Work with Project Sponsor to draft and sign-off the Project Charter, identify success measures for defined deliverables
- Design, develop and manage the detailed project plan with the Sponsor
- Communicate plan with relevant stakeholders and working group member to ensure everyone clears the role they play, what and when they need to deliver in the project
- Organize and host project-related meetings
- Monitor project task progress, prepare status report and communicate key project messages to relevant stakeholders
- Identify and manage project risks/issues, escalate issues with proposed solutions if necessary. Ensure efficient and orderly implementation of the project, and complete the task on time and with high quality
- Consolidate monthly updates with summary of progress tracking, issue, risks and mitigants
- Act as workstream lead to design and develop functional solutions and deliverables as required
- Control and coordinate the issues involved in the project process
- Provide support and monitoring of projects and ensure activities are consistent with established standards
- Review, refine and redesign existing works flow and processes based on corporate strategy
- Ability to set up goals, monitor progress, drive delivery and manage reporting
- Demonstrate the ability to define a flexible, unique approach based on the business team and working environment
- Responsible for collaborating with business partners to assist a delivery team to produce technical solutions to address business needs
- Responsible for identifying and analyzing gaps between current processes and desired state and document processing requirements
- Assist department head to improve the construction of project management system
- Display an understanding of the local market in relation to culture and work habit
What we need from you
- College or above Diploma in Business, Project Management, Economics or related discipline
- At least 3 years of experience in project management or consulting in professional services, hospitality or FMCG industries
- Have some project management experience. Familiar with delivery of project management process, methodology and tools
- Analytical, rational and structural in elaboration, presentation and communications
- Knowledge of the hospitality or FMCG industries at macro levels
- Sensitive to numbers and mindful of big picture
- Basic understanding of independent advisory and corporate strategy
- Project management and track
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good communication and pressure resistance ability, with certain management and coordination ability
- Strong partnership mindset and stakeholder management skills across functions
