Description
- Lead the Finance & Business Support function and ensure the effective operation of all finance activities in line with IHG standards.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business objectives.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and performance analyses.
- Monitor financial performance, KPIs, and departmental P&Ls, providing recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with IHG policies, accounting standards, local regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Maintain strong internal controls, safeguard hotel assets, and oversee financial risk management.
- Coordinate internal, external, and IHG audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, payroll, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) activities.
- Partner with the General Manager and Department Heads to support strategic planning and commercial decision-making.
- Drive cost control initiatives while maintaining service quality and operational excellence.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Finance & Business Support team to ensure high performance and continuous professional growth.
- Promote collaboration across departments and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the General Manager in support of the hotel's business objectives.
