Job Scope
As a Bellman, you will be one of the first and last colleagues our guests interact with during their stay. Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager (or their delegate), you will provide a warm welcome, assist with luggage handling, escort guests to their rooms, and deliver exceptional service that creates a memorable arrival and departure experience in line with IHG standards.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Welcome guests upon arrival and departure in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
- Assist guests with luggage handling, storage, transportation, and delivery requests.
- Escort guests to their rooms, explaining hotel facilities, services, and room features.
- Provide accurate information regarding hotel outlets, facilities, operating hours, and local attractions.
- Coordinate with Front Office and Concierge teams to ensure seamless guest arrivals and departures.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, entrance areas, luggage room, and bell desk.
- Assist with transportation arrangements, taxi requests, and guest directions when required.
- Handle guest belongings with care and maintain the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Support VIP arrivals, group arrivals, and special events as directed by management.
- Follow hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures at all times.
- Promote a positive image of the hotel by delivering outstanding guest service and hospitality.
What we need from you
- Previous experience in Front Office, Guest Services, Bell Service, or a customer-facing role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for hospitality.
- Good command of English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of local attractions, transportation options, and guest service practices is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and transport guest luggage safely.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and guest-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
