Your day to day
- Prepare and cook a range of high-quality dishes for the Regent Club Lounge, including appetizers, snacks, and light meals. Maintain high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design and update the lounge menu. Incorporate seasonal ingredients, guest preferences, and contemporary trends while ensuring a luxurious dining experience.
- Assist in training, supervising, and mentoring kitchen staff. Ensure adherence to recipes, cooking techniques, and safety standards. Foster a positive and efficient working environment.
- Monitor and ensure the quality of all dishes prepared in the lounge. Address any issues with food quality or presentation promptly and effectively.
- Oversee inventory levels, place orders for ingredients and supplies, and manage food costs. Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients to minimize waste and maintain freshness.
- Ensure all kitchen operations comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, and enforce hygiene practices among staff.
- Assist in managing kitchen operations during service periods, ensuring timely and efficient preparation and delivery of dishes. Handle any operational challenges that arise.
- Occasionally interact with guests to ensure their satisfaction with the food and address any special dietary requests or preferences.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef, Regent Club Manager, and other staff to ensure seamless coordination and communication between the kitchen and the lounge.
