Duties & Responsablities
You will lead the digital and social media efforts for the cluster, encompassing properties in Ibiza, Rome, and Milan. Your role is to ensure all digital platforms reflect the brand’s values of sustainability, wellness, and exceptional guest experiences, while effectively driving engagement, reach, and conversions.
You will collaborate with Marketing and PR teams to integrate digital strategies with broader marketing objectives and provide guidance to local teams, ensuring consistency and alignment across all cluster properties.
Website Management & Optimization
- Supervise all cluster website content, ensuring it is up-to-date, accurate, and consistently aligned with the brand’s messaging and visual identity.
- Optimize website navigation and functionality to improve the user experience, ensuring seamless interactions that drive engagement and conversions.
- Partner with the Head Office team to implement non-structural updates, such as content changes, that improve website performance and align with strategic goals.
Social Media Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy for the cluster, aligning with the brand’s overall goals and property-specific campaigns.
- Manage cluster-level social media accounts, curating engaging, on-brand content that showcases the unique offerings of each property and appeals to target audiences.
- Track social media metrics such as engagement, reach, and conversions, and adjust strategies to optimize results.
- Provide strategic direction to local MarComms Managers, ensuring that property-level social media initiatives are consistent with the cluster’s overarching digital goals.
Online Advertising & Campaign Management
- Plan, execute, and monitor online advertising campaigns, including SEM, social media ads, and trade digital promotions, ensuring alignment with broader marketing strategies.
- Analyze campaign performance to refine budget allocation, focusing on maximizing ROI and achieving measurable outcomes.
- Work closely with the Marketing and PR & Communications Managers to ensure digital campaigns complement other marketing efforts and support overarching cluster objectives.
Email Marketing & Audience Engagement
- Design and manage localized email marketing campaigns, including newsletters and promotional offers tailored to each property’s audience.
- Leverage data-driven insights to segment audiences and deliver personalized content that fosters engagement and conversion.
- Ensure all email content adheres to the cluster’s branding and messaging standards, maintaining a cohesive brand image across digital touchpoints.
Qualification
To execute the position of Cluster Digital & Social Media Manager- Italy & Ibiza, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and including the following:
- Degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in PR and communications, including 2 years at a managerial level, with a strong track record in industries such as luxury, lifestyle, travel, hospitality, or related creative sectors.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Italian and Spanish is considered a plus.
- Strong knowledge of website management, social media platforms, online advertising, and email marketing.
- Proficiency in interpreting digital analytics, optimizing strategies, and driving data-informed decisions.
- Exceptional ability to create compelling content and develop innovative strategies that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cluster teams, local managers, and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
- A valid work permit in the EU or EU citizenship is required for this position.
