Duties and Responsibilities
As Restaurant Manager, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Food & Beverage department to provide exceptional product and service within brand operating standards.
The duties and responsibilities will include:
- Support with the creation of the new restaurant concept and implementation of processes within the department.
- Ensure restaurant amenities, menus, and wine lists align with wellness and sustainability practices.
- Maintain positive relationships with the culinary and beverage teams.
- Develop and lead a skilled team to deliver Six Senses' high service standards.
- Regularly assess products and services to ensure innovation and alignment with wellness and sustainability practices.
- Ensure strict adherence to LQA standards and maintain a strong presence in the department.
- Stay updated on industry trends and continuously improve products and services.
- Guarantee exceptional guest experiences in the restaurant.
- Manage service recovery and empower hosts to address guest complaints.
- Regularly inspect department and guest orders, ensuring timely maintenance and product improvements
Qualifications
To execute the position of Restaurant Manager, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1-3 years restaurant management experience in a full-service outlet or similar setting. Hospitality Management Degree or some college preferred.
- Familiar with Food and beverage terminology, application, operation, wine service, costs, menu development food and hygiene codes and controlling inventory.
- Fluent in English; I understand that additional languages are preferred.
