Manager, Talent & Inclusion


This position manages and delivers the strategic implementation of critical elements of the Inclusion multi-year agenda in the Americas region for Corporate and Hotel colleagues. Accountabilities include delivery of our cultural calendar, strategic programs and initiatives, championing our ERGs and providing supportive governance, resources, communication and change management to embed Inclusion into the organization’s culture and enable a high-performance culture. This role requires building strong relationships with senior business and HR leadership, ERGs and dedicated IHG colleagues to drive greater inclusion, talent attraction and workforce engagement.
Your day to day
- Partner in the strategy, development and implementation of the Americas region Inclusion commitments, plans and programs, in collaboration with the Senior Manager, Talent and Inclusion Team.
- Design and implement select Inclusion programs that accelerate career progression and development of a diverse leadership and talent pipeline, from Early Careers to leadership development programs.
- Drive change management, communications and engagement to build awareness, understanding and behavior change to embed inclusion as a key enabler of high-performance culture in close partnership with Corporate Affairs and Global Inclusion & Impact.
- Lead the strategic governance and oversight of our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) toward supporting business growth and engagement through effective leadership, active engagement, programming support, and calendar & budget management.
- Champion and partner to deliver our cultural calendar, events and moments that matter to support engagement, retention and belonging; working closely with ERGs, Talent Acquisition and Talent and Inclusion team to support and implement programs, events successfully.
- Partner with the Talent Business Partners to develop and track data, analytics and insights to understand talent pipelines, internal engagement and external trends, opportunities, and future-oriented thinking to assess progress and direct continuous improvement opportunities.
- Develop engaging communications in partnership with AMER Comms that champion IHG’s commitment to Inclusion and behaviors that foster engagement, belonging and inclusion through meaningful internal messaging and integration of inclusion.
What we need from you
- Strong experience in Inclusion in a corporate environment; Hotel experience a plus
- Change Management and communications - how to drive an inclusive culture, build diverse teams and the levers to drive change
- Learning, Leadership development and/or Talent development program experience
- A strong relationship builder, able to collaborate with and influence across all levels of leadership and cross-functional partners
- Bias for action– maintains high quality standards, takes initiative with a strong 80/20 mindset and can deliver at pace
- Critical thinker who seeks and leverages data and insight to build a story, influence and identify opportunities
- Highly collaborative and operates with a one team mindset – can identify interdependencies and make connections where workstreams fit together
Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) business days a week in the Atlanta office. These expectations may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
The salary range for this role is $58,834 to $120,000. This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
