As we continue to grow and enhance our guest experience, we're looking for a dynamic Front Office Manager who can lead our team into the next chapter of excellence, drive results, and propel team engagement.
Your day-to-day
As our Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for the daily synergy of guest experiences and team operations. Some of your duties may include:
- Demonstrate operational excellence through visible leadership and active engagement in daily operations
- Effectively communicate with various Hotel Departments to ensure smooth running of operational or administrative requirements
- Drive team performance and resilience through the Hotel's refurbishment period while ensuring consistent service delivery
- Manage payroll productivity and oversight of Front Office roster ensuring compliance with the Hospitality Industry General Award and Fair Work Legislation
- Ensure the Hotel’s key metrics are met and exceeded through creative initiatives that will drive team engagement and success
- Direct, coach, and develop Front Office Duty Managers, Supervisors and Guest Service Agents
- Conduct recruitment and onboarding practices in accordance with Hotel practice
- Create and monitor your departmental budget
- Provide your team with adequate training to ensure they have the right tools to perform the work to the expected standards
- Monitor the performance of employees and initiate disciplinary actions in accordance with regulations and in collaboration with Human Resources
What we need from you
- 4+ years’ related Hotel/Front Office experience, including management experience
- Approved Manager Certification (WA)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Availability during critical periods outside of usual working days (eg: Public Holidays)
- Full Australian working rights
- Great communication skills (written and verbal), passion for developing people and self, and in turn, delivering results
- Comprehension of Hotel systems (Opera, Infrasys)
