Your day-to-day
  1. Digital Strategy & Execution
  • Develop annual and quarterly digital activity plans for the hotel identifying key focus for the coming months.
  • Maintain an understanding of local, regional and international market trends to proactively implement action plans as required.
  • Plan appropriate digital and social media strategies using eCommerce platforms and tactics.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase hotel database using existing digital marketing tools.
  • Coordinate the execution of online marketing efforts through approved agencies and IHGANA Marketing Shared Services team.
  1. Non-Paid Digital Acquisition 
  • Manage Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) for the hotel.
  • Assure that hotel independent websites, ihg.com and SYS, are fully optimised to maximise traffic from search engines, and drive room and F&B reservations. 
  • Prepare storytelling or local content based on SEO strategy to improve the hotels’ independent website presence among the competitors.
  1. Paid Media Campaign Management
  • Understand all paid media acquisition channels.
  • Execute successful, ROI based, paid social media campaigns to drive hotel revenues.
  • Execute digital marketing activities across paid channels such as Google platform.
  • Manage the execution of day-to-day campaign implementations. 
  • Identify improvement opportunities and best practices in paid channel growth and efficiency.

 

  1. Website Optimisation
  • Conduct audits of ihg.com, independent websites, SYS, and online-shop website to ensure optimisation for high-quality images, content, links, and accurate translations.
  • Develop websites to increase page visits, engagement and improve the user experience.
  • Oversee the web design and development of any other new system or InterContinental brand requirements that may affect hotel websites.
  • Implement digital marketing tools to extend the hotels’ reach and increase revenues.
  1. OTAs and Meta Search Channel Optimisation
  • Audit content, and images on OTAs and Meta Search sites, and amend where appropriate.
  • Identify and execute the hotels’ OTA marketing and merchandising tactics such as IHG boost, Expedia TravelAds and Expedia Accelerator.
  • Collaborate with the revenue team to review hotel performance on digital platforms.
  • Supervise and provide direction to the Social Media team to make efficient and effective performance on social organic activities.
  1. Digital Performance Analysis and Communication
  • Analyse and track the digital marketing campaign effectiveness, identify and exploit opportunities to streamline digital marketing activities and improve key acquisition metrics.
  • Analyse web traffic trends and analytics, develop strategies and execute actions accordingly to grow online business and system delivery.
  • Deliver weekly and monthly reports.
  • Host the digital activities meeting.
ACCOUNTABILITY

Required experience in Digital Marketing, Channel Management, Agency Management. Additional experience in Brand Management, Public Relations and Marketing Communications welcomed.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
  • Leadership and digital marketing experience within a service-led fast-paced industry
  • Experience developing and implementing a digital marketing strategy.
  • Excellent commercial and digital marketing acumen.
  • Experience in website development and familiarity with UX.
  • Excellent negotiating skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with Google Analytics
  • Good written and oral communication presentation skills.
  • Good managerial skills.
 
  • Proven track record in analysing the marketplace, establishing revenue targets, and meeting and exceeding targets, accurately assessing opportunities and marketplace threats, and developing action plans to combat threats.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work with stakeholders, prioritise work schedules, and multitask.
  • Proven track record of developing appropriate partner relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Business competency in English, fluency in Japanese.
