Assist the Duty  Engineer with general hotel and building maintenance and ensure that work is completed to a high standard within your established trade which meets the needs and expectations of your customers.

Duties and Responsibilities工作职责

Financial Returns:财务回报:

  • Operate boiler and attend all repair works related to steam supply.
  • 操作锅炉和参加所有蒸汽工作的维修工作。
  • Maintain all additional systems which adjust the quality of boiler and laundry systems
  • 维护所有额外的系统,调整锅炉和洗衣系统的质量。
  • Record mechanical readings of boiler, laundry and steam system

  • Attends to repairs or replacement of all bathroom / toilet fixtures in guest rooms, public areas and back-of-the-house areas.

  • Attends to all types of repair and maintenance work in the Hotel premises including any new additions / extensions to the Hotel or any other properties maintained by the Hotel.

  • Participates in Hotel Energy Conservation Program.

  • Use initiative and foresight to undertake tasks outlined within the preventative maintenance program without the direction of the Shift Engineer/Chief Engineer.

  • Insure Hotel Rules and Regulations are fully followed, avoid any of the  followings, but not limited to:

  2. Late arriving at beginning of shift上班迟到
  3. Early departure at the end of the shift早退

Guest Experience:宾客体验:

  • Complete all work orders related interior decoration as requested by hotel various departments to meet customer requirements
  • 完成酒店各个部门要求的与室内装修有关的所有工作单上的任务,以满足客人的需求
  • Interacts and cooperates with Hotel guests and outside contractors as necessary or directed by superior.
  • 必要时或在主管的指导下,与酒店客人及外部承包商沟通合作。
  • Interacts and cooperates with other departments when necessary to provide additional or specialized services for functions, promotions and festivities.

  • Demonstrate Awareness of IHG Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within PPE guidelines and ensure your direct reports do the same

  • Be aware of duty of care and adhere to work place health and safety related various IHG policies and procedures

  • Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
  • 自主纠正一些危险状况,通知主管一些潜在危险
  • Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers
  • 按照IHG标准执行定期的火警测试
  • Carries out regular fire alarm test as per IHG standard
  • 按照酒店要求做安全事件和事故的日志
  • Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements
  • 确保车间和相关领域都保持在一个整洁条件下
  • Ensures that the work shop and related areas are kept in a clean and tidy condition.
  • 遵守酒店的健康、安全与卫生政策
  • Complies with Hotel's Health, Safety & Hygiene Policy.

Hotel 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.  All employees must realize this fact and be aware that at times it may be necessary to move employees from their accustomed shifts as business demands.  In addition, it is understood that business determines the amount of hours that are worked, and that some weeks may be scheduled at less than 40 hours, and other weeks at more than 40 hours.
