Telephone Operator
Are you an excellent communicator with a warm and professional phone manner? We’re looking for a Telephone Operator who will be the voice of our hotel, ensuring seamless communication between guests and departments while providing outstanding service.
A little taste of your day-to-day:Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Answering and handling all incoming and outgoing calls promptly and professionally.
- Assisting guests with inquiries, requests, and reservations while ensuring a high level of service.
- Providing accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and promotions.
- Connecting calls to the appropriate departments and ensuring smooth internal communication.
- Handling wake-up call requests and ensuring they are delivered on time.
- Logging and following up on guest requests to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of emergency procedures and handling emergency calls appropriately.
- Ensuring proper documentation of calls, guest requests, and complaints in the system.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or customer service environment is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills with a clear and pleasant phone manner.
- Ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously with efficiency and professionalism.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in telephone systems and basic computer skills.
- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
