Telephone Operator

Are you an excellent communicator with a warm and professional phone manner? We’re looking for a Telephone Operator who will be the voice of our hotel, ensuring seamless communication between guests and departments while providing outstanding service.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Answering and handling all incoming and outgoing calls promptly and professionally.
  • Assisting guests with inquiries, requests, and reservations while ensuring a high level of service.
  • Providing accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and promotions.
  • Connecting calls to the appropriate departments and ensuring smooth internal communication.
  • Handling wake-up call requests and ensuring they are delivered on time.
  • Logging and following up on guest requests to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of emergency procedures and handling emergency calls appropriately.
  • Ensuring proper documentation of calls, guest requests, and complaints in the system.
What we need from you:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or customer service environment is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills with a clear and pleasant phone manner.
  • Ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proficiency in telephone systems and basic computer skills.
  • A positive attitude, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
