As Sous Chef, you will support the Executive Sous Chef in managing daily kitchen operations to ensure high standards of food quality, consistency, and hygiene. You will play a key role in leading and developing the culinary team, maintaining cost control, and delivering exceptional dining experiences in line with IHG brand standards.
You will assist in menu execution, supervise kitchen operations, ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation requirements, and collaborate closely with the Culinary and Operations teams to support overall business objectives.
Your Day-to-Day
- Support the Executive Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Supervise food preparation, quality, and presentation
- Lead, train, and motivate the culinary team
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and brand standards
- Assist with inventory control, food cost, and waste management
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient kitchen environment
What We Need From You
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a hotel or resort environment
- Strong culinary skills and leadership capability
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Passion for quality, teamwork, and guest satisfaction
