We're looking for passionate, high-spirted individuals to join the pre-opening team at Kimpton Riyadh, the very first Kimpton hotel in the Middle Each. Working as a Bartender at an international luxury hotel involves a variety of tasks and responsibilities. Here's an overview of the day-to-day activities you might expect:

Morning Routine

1. Opening Procedures: Start the day by setting up the bar, ensuring all equipment is clean and ready for use.
2. Inventory Check: Review stock levels of beverages, mixers, and supplies. Place orders for any items running low.

Service

1. Beverage Preparation: Prepare a range of drinks, including cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages, according to the hotel's standards.
2. Quality Control: Ensure each drink meets the highest quality standards in terms of taste, presentation, and consistency.

Customer Interaction

1. Guest Engagement: Greet guests warmly, take their orders, and provide personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
2. Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from guests to continuously improve the quality of beverages and service.

Maintenance

1. Equipment Care: Regularly clean and maintain bar equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
2. Workstation Cleanliness: Keep the bar area clean and organized throughout the day.

Collaboration

1. Team Coordination: Work closely with other bar staff and servers to ensure a smooth workflow and timely service.
2. Event Support: Assist with special events and functions, providing bar service as needed.

Administrative Tasks

1. Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory levels and manage orders to ensure a steady supply of ingredients and supplies.
2. Documentation: Maintain records of recipes, production schedules, and inventory.

Evening Wrap-Up

1. Closing Procedures: Clean and sanitize the bar area and equipment. Ensure everything is in order for the next day.
2. Review and Plan: Reflect on the day's work, review any feedback received, and plan for the next day's tasks.

Working as a Bartender in a luxury hotel is both creative and customer-focused, requiring a blend of technical skill, excellent customer service, and attention to detail. 

What we need from you

Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree, higher education qualification or equivalent in Hotel Administration / Business Administration 

• Two to Three years’ prior tenure in a similar role

• International luxury hotel chain background

• GCC exposure

• English Fluency is required 

• Arabic Fluency is preferred

Teamwork and Flexibility

In addition to the tasks outlined above, all team members are expected to demonstrate flexibility and a collaborative spirit. This may involve taking on additional responsibilities as needed, especially during periods of high occupancy or in emergency situations. Your willingness to assist colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the hotel is essential in maintaining our high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
