Nestled in the heart of Washington D.C.'s vibrant new waterfront district, InterContinental Washington D.C. – The Wharf offers an unparalleled blend of luxury and convenience. Your day-to-day:
- Oversee Hotel Operations: Lead the commercial and operational functions of the hotel properties, ensuring smooth and efficient management.
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan aimed at maximizing owner returns and achieving financial targets.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, inspire, and manage a high-performing team. Focus on upskilling, measuring performance, and driving team success.
- Boost Commercial Growth: Review and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the hotel's commercial performance across all facilities.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong connections with guests, external stakeholders, and key partners, including clients, government officials, suppliers, and local communities.
What we need from you:
- Financial Experience: Solid financial acumen to drive profitability and manage budgets effectively.
- Luxury Experience: Proven success in luxury property environments, with a focus on delivering exceptional standards.
- Emotional Intelligence: Ability to connect with teams, guests, and stakeholders, fostering positive relationships.
- Results-Oriented: A driven individual who thrives on achieving goals and delivering measurable outcomes.
- F&B Expertise: A strong background in Food & Beverage operations is highly desirable.
- Relationship Builder: Exceptional ability to collaborate with and engage all stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential; conversational Spanish would be a strong advantage.
The salary range for this role is $250K – $280K base. This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K and other benefits to employees.
