Director of Marketing & Communications
Ready to spread the word and shape our brand? We’re searching for a Director of Marketing & Communications to develop and implement marketing strategy of the hotel to ensure that revenue and goals are achieved; manage all aspects of the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns, public relations, initiatives, and revenue producing promotions surrounding a digital & social media initiative.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Developing strategic marketing plan which includes market initiatives that not only drive brand image, but also sales and revenue
- Developing marketing promotions, packages and ad campaigns to ensure successful consumer response and positively impact market
- Taking the lead in content creation (photography/video etc) and ensure all deliverables are up to brand’s standards and guidelines
- Liaising and managing external stakeholders (i.e. third-party agencies, etc.) and working closely with on-property teams from planning through execution on all commercial initiatives
- Developing and implementing public relations strategies to support the brand, with creation of brand materials (press release, copy) to ensure messaging are well drafted to represent the brand
- Being one of the key brand spokespersons in PR handling for the brand, and taking leadership roles in the local and global communities to ensure visibility of the brand
- Developing social media strategies and programs resulting in the growth of website and social media platforms
- Assisting to develop with the Revenue Management/sales team Rate strategy initiatives to maximize revenue goals
- Researching, creating, implementing and monitoring performance of e-marketing programs, assesses ROI and overall effectiveness
What we need from you
- Bachelor’s degree in business, advertising, e-Commerce, marketing, or equivalent
- A minimum of 15 years’ experience in marketing, public relations, e-Commerce, hotel or project management
- Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level
- Solid experience with social media and a tactical understanding of all social media platforms
- Effective leadership and communication skills to lead the team and coordinate efforts across departments
- Passionate, creative, digital and social savvy
- Exceptional command of both English and Chinese language, speaking and writing
