This summer, we’re opening the doors to InterContinental Lifou Wadra Bay. Boasting 50 sophisticated villas nestled around the lagoon and ocean edge, InterContinental Lifou Wadra Bay is the ultimate in luxury island experiences. The island is known for its pristine sandy white beaches, amazing diving locations with cliffs of coral, local vanilla bean plantations generous local people and rich culture. With four unique food & beverage outlets across All Day Dining, a Specialty Restaurant, all-day Bar, and In Room Dining, the hotel will deliver truly memorable dining experience, whenever and wherever our guests choose to dine. The Chef De Partie is key in ensuring that the hotel’s restaurants, bars, room service, and banquet experience is served up with creativity and precision.

A little taste of your day-to-day

  • Assist in creating a menu of exceptional quality, under the guidance of the Head Chef
  • Manage a specific section in the kitchen, ensuring high standards in preparation, presentation, and taste
  • Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Work closely with a passionate team to bring the hotel’s culinary vision to life
  • Manage guest feedback and handle any complaints with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.

What we need from You 

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a fine dining or luxury hotel setting
  • Passionate about food and committed to high standards
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Flexible night, weekend and holiday shifts
  • Fluent speaking in both English and French 
  • French citizenship required. Please note this role is based on the island of Lifou.
  • Available for immediate start
