This role requires two overnight shifts (Friday & Saturday) per week.  While subject to change based on business need, overnight shifts are 11PM to 7AM.

 

A little about your day-to-day

Assist incoming and outgoing guests in transporting luggage to and from guest rooms while informing them about in-house amenities and local attractions.

 

Every day is different but mostly you'll be

  • Promptly and safely transporting luggage.  You may secure, tag, and store luggage at guest's request.
  • Explain and promote hotel facilities, outlets, and services to guests and provide information to guests regarding local attractions and activities.  
  • Respond appropriately to guest complaints, feeling empowered to resolve problems on your own.  Report all issues to management during your shift and immediately reporting ,major problems, complaints, disturbances, or dissatisfied guests. 
  • Promote team work and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.  
  • Regularly inspect and clear hotel entrance and surrounding areas of litter and debris.  
  • Perform other duties as assigned which may include but is not limited to: 
    • accepting dry cleaning from guest and securing for pick up by dry cleaning company.
    • delivering clean laundry, guest mail/messages, or sundry items to guest rooms.
    • delivering boxes or packages at direction of hotel clients.
    • responding to other special requests.

 

What we need from you

Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a high-tough guest-focused role.  

Must be able to effectively communicate in English.  Candidates with knowledge of secondary languages are preferred.  

 

This job requires ability to perform the following:

  • consistently stand for long periods of time - up to 100% of your daily shift.
  • regularly carry, push, pull, or lift items weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • constantly handle objects such as luggage, boxes, etc.
  • frequently bend, stoop, and knee. 
  • read, write, and speak with guests and colleagues to complete departmental records, logs, tags, road signs, maps, etc.
  • work weekends, nights, and holidays.

 

What you can expect from us

The hourly pay range for this role is $18.67 to $27.56
