Role Purpose

Responsible for the systems administration of Account Reconciliation tool (ARCS) and applications used for Group internal and external reporting (ARCS, Financial Reporting).

Key Accountabilities

  • Sound knowledge on Account Reconciliation including Reconciliation Compliance

  • Data loads from PeopleSoft and other data sources into Account Reconciliation tool (ARCS/ARM)

  • Responsible for global end user security set-up in Account Reconciliation tool

  • Functional knowledge of Finance/accounting and account reconciliation

  • Responsible for SOX controls and documentation

  • Responsible for Centralized Account Reconciliation report development

  • Provide support ad-hoc report development

  • Responsible for monthly Financial Management mapping changes

  • Work closely with Manager to transition any additional production support tasks

  • Assist in the testing and migration to production for software upgrades

  • Developing & Maintaining Process Documents for monthly activities

  • Review Performance of the application and suggest best practice

  • Work with Oracle for application related issues

  • Coordinate and conduct regression tests for regular Oracle ARC updates

  • Responsible Lower environment maintenance/refresh

  • Recommend process improvements along with implementation after consulting with regional teams

  • Knowledge of Blackline/ARM/ARCA is preferred.

     

Key Skills & Experiences

Education  

Bachelor’s or master’s degrees in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. 

Experience  

  • 3+ years progressive work-related experience in systems administration and having business knowledge in terms of Account Reconciliation and understanding of multiple discipline/processes related to the position. 

  • Experience working in a global environment, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, geographic & cultural awareness. 

 

Technical Skills and Knowledge

  1. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of structured analysis and technical design techniques.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills working towards a high level of accuracy.
  3. Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
