Key Accountabilities 

Adobe Analytics Implementation & Reporting:  

  • Configure and maintain Adobe Analytics to track user behaviour and engagement across the IHG agent portal.  
  • Develop and implement repeatable reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as user engagement, traffic patterns, and conversion rates.  
  • Build an understanding of IATA mapping across channels to correlate user activity with revenue generation.  
  • Establish tracking processes to measure the effectiveness of content launches and identify the optimal timing for new content deployment. 

Analysis & Insights: 

  • Use data to uncover insights about user behaviour and preferences, helping to guide site performance optimisation. 
  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve user engagement, navigation, and overall site performance. 
  • Assist in building frameworks to correlate user activity and engagement data with revenue outcomes. 

Strategic Planning & Development: 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to support a planning process for optimising the launch of new content, based on data-driven insights. 
  • Stay informed about Adobe Analytics configuration updates and emerging analytics trends, contributing to the creation of a centre of excellence for analytics practices. 

Collaboration & Learning: 

  • Partner with marketing, UX, GSO and development teams to define and implement tracking requirements. 
  • Learn and grow into the role, developing expertise in digital analytics and applying best practices.  

 

Requirements 

Required Skills: 

  • Basic understanding of web analytics concepts and tools, with an eagerness to learn Adobe Analytics. 
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools or platforms for creating reports and dashboards (e.g., Adobe Workspace, Excel, Tableau, or similar). 
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and present insights clearly. 
  • Interest in staying up to date with analytics technologies and configuration practices. 

Preferred Experience: 

  • Basic knowledge of tag management systems (e.g., Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager) is a plus. 
  • Understanding web development concepts (e.g., HTML, JavaScript) is desirable but not required. 
  • Previous exposure to analytics or digital marketing in a professional, internship, or academic setting is advantageous. 

Soft Skills: 

  • Curious and forward-thinking mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross functionally and manage multiple projects,  collaborating with various teams. 
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and capable of working independently.  
  • Strong attention to detail.
