- Keep all equipment in good repair with a minimum of downtime by providing day-to-day maintenance of the hotel and to complete maintenance work orders from all departments on a timely basis by following hotels standard operating procedures.
- Inspect, clean, log and maintain all electrical switchgear and distribution networks and systems.
- Maintain and repair all electrical appliances.
- Replace electrical light emitting devices according to schedule or when required.
- Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair all electrical lighting fixtures, floodlighting, signage, socket outlets, circuit breakers and emergency lighting installations.
- Maintain emergency power supply and uninterruptible power supply systems.
- Service electrical motors and controls.
- Carry out preventive maintenance tasks on all electrical equipment and distribution boards.
- To be thoroughly familiar with all regulations regarding the electrical discipline, safety at work and observe these meticulously at all times.
- Observe cleanliness at the place of work and on the job after completion of work at all times.
