Attendant Room

We are looking for a detail oriented, hardworking Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team! If you take pride in creating clean, comfortable, and welcoming spaces for guests, this role is a great fit for you.

As a Room Attendant, you play a key role in the guest experience by ensuring rooms and suites are cleaned thoroughly and efficiently. You'll be working independently on assigned rooms while staying supported by a great Housekeeping team. 

What You'll Be Doing: 

• Room Cleaning & Service: Clean guest rooms and suites to brand standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash, and fully sanitizing bathrooms.
• Kitchenette Care: Clean kitchen areas, refrigerators, coffee makers, dishes, and glassware in suites as needed. 
• Room Status Updates: Notify your supervisor as soon as rooms are finished so they can be made available for incoming guests, or if a room cannot be serviced. 
• Guest Hospitality: Address guest requests or concerns promptly and warmly to ensure an excellent stay.
• Supply & Inventory Control: Monitor cleaning supplies and guest amenities, using materials wisely to minimize waste. 
• Lost & Found: Carefully log and turn in any items left behind by guests following property procedures.
• Teamwork & Safety: Report any maintenance repairs or safety hazards to supervisors and collaborate with other departments.
• Special Tasks: Assist with deep cleaning projects, turndown service, or other duties as assigned. 

What We're Looking For:

• Skills: Basic reading, writing, and simple math skills.
• Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Experience: Previous housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience is preferred, but not required. We're happy to train candidates with a strong work ethic!
• Attention to Detail: Pride in thoroughness, cleanliness, and delivering consistent quality. 

Physical Requirments:

• Ability to lift or carry items weighing up to 50 LBS and push or pull equipment/carts up to 200 LBS.
• Frequently standing, moving, walking, bending, stooping, and kneeling throughout the shift.
• Continuous handling of cleaning supplies, tools, and linens. 

This property is located on a US Military Installation. Successful completion of a Federal Background check, conducted by the Installation Visitor's Center, will be required to access the installation. This is necessary in order to come to the hotel for an inteview for this positon. If hired, this background check will be required to be renewed annually at minimum. DOD sponsored ID holders are not subject to this process.
