About Us

The Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites is located in beautiful Tallahassee, Florida.  Home to the Florida State Capital, FSU, FAMU, & TCC.  

Our hotel has 132 rooms with a Bistro, Lounge, and Banquet meeting rooms.  


Your day to day

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Food and Beverage to oversee all aspects of our food and beverage operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, team leadership, and customer service.

*Responsibilities*

- Manage and lead the food and beverage team to deliver exceptional service

- Oversee Banquet and Catering functions for hotel

- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability

- Oversee food production, inventory control, and quality standards

- Ordering of food and liquor for restaurant and banquet department

- Train, mentor, and coach staff on service standards and product knowledge

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menus

- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally

*Skills*

- Minimum 5 years F&B management experience in restaurant or hotel setting.

- Proven experience in restaurant management with a focus on casual dining establishments

- Proficient knowledge of inventory control, food ordering, and cost control

- Strong background in team management, training development, and supervising staff

- Knowledge of bartending techniques and beverage service

- Excellent customer service skills with a passion for exceeding guest expectations


What we need from you

● Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or related field
● 4+ years’ related experience, including management experience

ServSafe Manager Certification required.
