Food & Beverage Duty Manager - FT - Holiday Inn Perth City Centre
Our 120 seat venue located on Hay St in the CBD is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and hands on leader who wants to be part of a lively and energetic environment that is IVY & JACK.
Once home to the old Town Cinema, this urban industrial-chic restaurant pays homage to movie stars of the past with a modern twist.
Currently open breakfast through to dinner 7 days a week.
The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Food & Beverage Duty Manager, you are a leader in our hotel. You will be the person that guests rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights and anticipate every detail for a seamless experience. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will lead and oversee all aspects of operations within our restaurant, Ivy & Jack, to deliver a unique guest experience, thus bringing our brand to life. The hotel team works closely together, so, whilst you will predominantly focus your time across Ivy & Jack, you will also provide support to Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering and other areas of the hotel operations as needed.
You will be in tune with your team, driving performance and engagement ensuring they receive the right learning and development opportunities to maximise their performance and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
This critical leadership position requires proven capability to take the lead with the team and create exceptional guest experiences, as well as working well under pressure. You will have a passion for creating great guest experiences as well as a focus for motivating and engaging your team to deliver results.
The ideal candidate will also possess the following qualifications, skills and attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Management and/or Business Administration.
- Minimum 2 years years of guest service/hotel experience in a leadership capacity across Food & Beverage and/or Hotel Operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with varied audiences.
- Excellent skills in point of sale (POS) systems
- Ability to work under pressure and be familiar with fire emergency procedures, evacuation procedures, and demonstrate awareness of Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Hold an WA Approved Manager Certificate.
- You must meet the legal requirement to work in Australia with no restrictions.
