Your day to day

Our Director Sales Conference and Events will lead a C&E sales & C&E planning team ensuring across the C&E sales function maximises performance, profitability and total revenue generation.

Work closely with the C&E operations and culinary teams you will ensure the seamless delivery of incredible occasions across all meetings and events at the hotel. 

Your immaculate presentation, passion for sales, sound commercial and sales acumen and ability to lead and manage a busy and varied C&E sales department will be essential for your success in this role. 

 

What we need from you

  • 2+ years’ experience and proven track record in Sales within Events is essential 
  • Proven success in securing sales and maximising revenue with the C&E industry
  • Exceptional mentor and leadership skills and to nurture and develop your team
  • Strategic and tactical thinker - ability to develop strategic C&E Sales plans, establish goals and objectives, set performance targets and deliver projects on time
  • Ability to work across multiple diversified business units or multiple projects
  • Understands the C&E industry dynamics, trends, and disciplines
  • In-depth knowledge of Sales principles and selling techniques
  • Strong organisational, written & communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritise workload & manage projects
  • You must meet the legal requirements to live & work in Australia
