Key Responsibilities:
Guest Satisfaction:
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences by ensuring that all guests receive outstanding service, personalized attention, and a warm welcome.
- Act as a point of contact for Chinese-speaking guests, ensuring their needs and preferences are understood and met.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise, motivate, and train restaurant staff, setting performance expectations and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to manage staff schedules and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, table assignments, and reservation management.
- Monitor and manage inventory, ordering, and the quality of food and beverage offerings.
Quality Assurance:
- Enforce the highest standards of food and service quality to consistently exceed guest expectations.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
Guest Engagement:
- Foster relationships with guests, taking the initiative to address concerns and ensure their needs are met promptly.
- Encourage upselling and suggestive selling techniques among the staff to enhance the guest experience and revenue.
Financial Management:
- Assist in budget preparation and control expenses while maximizing restaurant revenue.
- Monitor and analyze financial reports to identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth.
Communication and Reporting:
- Maintain open and effective communication with the Restaurant Manager, other department heads, and team members.
- Prepare and submit reports related to restaurant performance and guest feedback.
