We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Commercial and Marketing Procurement to lead our procurement efforts in the commercial and marketing sectors. These responsibilities require a combination of strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and strong communication abilities to effectively manage procurement activities in support of commercial and marketing goals.
Your day to day
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with Commercial and Marketing and other leaders to understand their needs and ensure procurement strategies support their objectives. Create and sustain meaningful communication channels that fosters trust and support.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the procurement team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective execution of business expectations and procurement strategies.
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing strategies for marketing and commercial materials, ensuring alignment with financial targets and overall business goals.
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, segment, and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate and monitor contracts and terms to secure the best value and quality.
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with suppliers and procurement processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze procurement performance metrics, such as supplier performance, delivery timelines, and cost savings to identify areas for improvement.
- Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and new suppliers to make informed procurement decisions.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
What we need from you
- Partner with C&M leadership to proactively meet business needs and influence solutions to create value-based outcomes
- Need to lead the delivery of Procurement supported projects on budget, on time and on quality
- Lead, develop, and coach C&M Procurement team to increase engagement and performance
- Ensure compliance to corporate requirements while implementing continuous improvement opportunities Partner with key suppliers while holding them accountability to contractual terms and other SLAs
- Actively participate as part of GCMP&T Procurement leadership team to drive mission of being simpler, faster and better
Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectations of three (3) days a week in the Atlanta office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $200,000 annually. This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K and other benefits to employees.
Travel - 10% domestic and international travel required
