What is your job?

As the Guest Services Manager, you and your team will play a vital part in the smooth arrival and departure operation of the hotel by ensuring that the guests have a wonderful first and last impression.  This is done by anticipating guests’ needs, providing assistance to their requests, and multi-tasking in various areas.  You and your team will also create a memorable stay by providing the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location.

Guest Services Manager is  responsible for assisting the Front Office Manager, sharing feedback and ensuring the team is providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests. This additionally includes resolving guest complaints, maximizing revenue opportunities, and maintaining good relations with various stakeholders and partners.  Lastly, responsibilities also include maintaining the cleanliness, sanitization, and safety of all Guest Services areas (and any other related areas deemed necessary by management).

 

YOUR DAY TO DAY

  • Handling guest complaints and special requests
  • Attending to VIP guests and enhancing customer satisfaction
  • Promoting and improving operational efficiency
  • Supporting cost management
  • Proposing and implementing strategies to increase revenue in guest services
  • Training, developing, managing attendance, and creating schedules for staff
  • Responding to hotel emergencies and safety situations
