Your day to day
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the retail shop's product offerings, including luxury items, souvenirs, and exclusive merchandise. Stay informed about product features, benefits, pricing, and any promotional events.
- Offer detailed product information to customers and assist them in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Actively engage customers to increase sales through effective upselling and cross-selling techniques. Meet and exceed sales targets and goals established by the retail shop management.
- Use suggestive selling to encourage customers to explore additional products.
- Maintain a visually appealing and organized retail space.
- Participate in arranging and replenishing merchandise on the shop floor.
- Ensure all products are accurately labeled and priced.
- Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain a balanced cash register.
- Perform inventory checks, assist in restocking inventory, and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Assist in regular stocktaking activities.
What we need from you
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Computer literacy, relevant certifications or additional training in sales and customer service can be advantageous.
