Your day to day
At voco Monaco Dubai, we pride ourselves on creating exceptional work environments. We are seeking an Accommodation Manager to ensure that our staff housing facilities are well-maintained, compliant with local standards, and provide a comfortable living space for our team members. This role involves overseeing accommodation assignments, handling budgeting, managing vendors, and ensuring health and safety compliance.
Every day is different at voco Monaco Dubai, but you’ll mostly be:
- Creating a welcoming environment by managing the allocation, maintenance, and safety of staff accommodations, ensuring they meet local health and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with HR to support the seamless onboarding of new hires, ensuring housing arrangements are in place and employees are familiar with accommodation rules and safety procedures.
- Inspiring and motivating staff by fostering a sense of community and well-being within the accommodations, addressing any concerns or conflicts swiftly and diplomatically.
- Overseeing daily operations of staff housing, including budget management, vendor coordination, and facility maintenance, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Staying competitive by analyzing the local market, ensuring our accommodation offerings are aligned with industry standards, and continuously improving housing conditions.
- Enhancing employee satisfaction by regularly inspecting facilities, ensuring timely repairs, and promoting a positive, comfortable living experience that boosts overall morale and performance.
What we need from you
- Experience: 4-7 years of proven experience in accommodation or property management, ideally within the hospitality industry.
- Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. A professional HR certification is a plus.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve housing-related issues quickly and diplomatically.
- Knowledge: A solid understanding of UAE labor laws, health and safety regulations, and property management best practices.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple housing assignments, budgets, and maintenance projects while keeping detailed records and reports.
- Cultural Sensitivity: A keen awareness of cultural diversity and the ability to foster a positive, inclusive living environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in MS Office and property management systems.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel and adjust to the unique demands of the World Islands, Dubai.
