Your day to day
- Collaborate with the Chief Engineer to plan, schedule, and oversee routine maintenance and repair tasks for the property's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Assist in identifying and addressing any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly to prevent disruptions to guest services.
- Receive, log, and prioritize engineering work orders and service requests from various departments and guests.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to order necessary supplies and track inventory levels to avoid stockouts.
- Ensure that the engineering department complies with all safety regulations and standards, including fire safety, electrical safety, and building codes.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential safety hazards and promptly address any issues found.
What we need from you
- A degree or diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Engineering Coordinator or related position.
