Help the team - you are always around to help your team mates and share the workload with other duties as required
Fixing problems - you will be there to help resolve guest issues and ensure they leave having had an exceptional stay
Balance your book - know how to manage guests billing and payments and follow policies and procedures of cash handling. Ensure all credit and financial transactions are handled in a secure manner
IHG One Rewards Club advocate - you will drive loyalty by enrolling guests to become members, and doing all you can to recognise existing members
Know who we are - you will be across our brand standards and work towards making a great branded experience for all
Be a responsible team player- comply with our WH&S, HACCP and crisis management polices and be a supporter for a greener hotel environment
Be a neighbourhood host - know what’s happening in the neighbourhood and the hotel keeping up to date with events, groups and hotel information such as guest feedback
Contribute to TORE through highlighting promotions to guests and maximising up-selling and suggestive selling opportunities across each guest’s stay
Preparing and serving food and drinks to high standards
Ensure the security and proper storage of floats, guest property, food and beverage products, inventory and equipment, and replenish supplies in a timely and efficient manner while minimising waste
Ensure that all food and beverage facilities and equipment including banquet spaces are cleaned, vacuumed, and properly stocked according to anticipated business volume.
Notify engineering immediately of any maintenance and repair needs and use Maintenance request system as required
Where Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required to control exposure to hazards in the workplace, wear and maintain the PPE as directed or as required in WH&S procedures.
Strictly adhere to IHG policy concerning the Trade Practices Act, Gifts and Bribery and Data Privacy. Maintain all procedures and adheres to them within the IHG guidelines; in particular with emphasis on hotel credit policy
