Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the MICE segment to achieve revenue goals.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify business opportunities.
- Work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing to align MICE sales efforts with overall hotel sales strategy.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and travel agencies.
- Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and site inspections to promote hotel services and facilities.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and terms with clients to secure business and ensure customer satisfaction.
Revenue Generation & Target Achievement:
- Meet or exceed revenue targets for the MICE segment by identifying and capturing new business opportunities.
- Manage the sales pipeline and ensure a consistent flow of MICE business into the hotel.
- Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to maximize occupancy and revenue from group bookings.
Event Planning & Coordination:
- Work with internal departments (e.g., F&B, Operations, Banquet) to ensure the successful execution of MICE events.
- Oversee the planning and delivery of events to ensure they meet client expectations and hotel standards.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues during event execution.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the MICE sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
- Set clear performance expectations, monitor progress, and provide coaching and guidance.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and provide updates on team performance, goals, and initiatives.
Marketing & Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote MICE services through targeted campaigns and initiatives.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to represent the hotel and build industry relationships.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Analyze sales data and make data-driven recommendations to improve the MICE sales strategy.
- Monitor budget and ensure that sales activities are cost-effective and generate a strong ROI.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the hospitality industry with a focus on MICE.
- Proven track record in generating MICE business and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing sales teams.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, event planning, and revenue management.
