About the Role:
As a Business Development Executive with Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour, you’ll work hand-in-hand with our Director of Sales & Marketing to achieve and exceed sales targets. You’ll focus on building relationships with corporate, group, and event clients, tailoring solutions to meet their unique needs. Whether you’re generating leads, engaging in negotiations, or creating lasting connections with stakeholders, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth strategy, ensuring a high level of repeat business.
Your Day-to-Day:- Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key clients, meeting planners, and stakeholders to drive revenue.
- Market Growth: Identify new business opportunities, develop strategies, and bring innovative ideas to boost hotel positioning.
- Sales Strategy: Meet or exceed revenue goals, manage your account base, and develop sales plans to capture new and repeat business.
- Guest Experience: Create a seamless and personalized experience for every client, consistently exceeding expectations.
- Community Involvement: Represent Crowne Plaza in the local community by participating in business associations and networking events.
- Experience: At least 1 year in sales with a proven track record; hospitality experience is a plus but not essential.
- Sales Savvy: Solid knowledge of sales techniques, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Adaptable Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, flexible approach.
- Team Player: Able to work effectively in a team and interact with various stakeholders.
- System Knowledge: Familiarity with Delphi and Opera is advantageous.
