Job Description: Address complex business problems using analytics, data science, and
visualization techniques to drive insight and data-driven decision-making. Apply statistical and
mathematical knowledge, tools, and techniques to analyze data, find relationships between
variables, deliver insights, and recommend action. Develop and implement advanced analytics
models and algorithms to solve complex business problems. Collaborate with cross-functional
teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities for leveraging predictive modeling to
drive business solutions Oversee the data collection, modeling, and analysis processes and ensure
best practices for model development and productionizing are leveraged. Oversee the dynamic
reward night pricing engine, ensuring continuous optimizations through accurate demand
forecasting and managing reward point cost budget. Onboard new hotels on to the pricing engine.
Communicate complex quantitative analyses in a clear, precise, and actionable manner to senior
executives and non-technical stakeholders. Stay informed on the latest advancements in the
Analytics and Data Science space, finding ways to deliver value by applying and customizing these
to our specific problem space. Participate in the continuous improvement of data science and
analytics by developing replicable solutions.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a closely related
quantitative field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of work experience in analytics.
The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics
or a closely related quantitative field plus 8 years of experience in the job offered or 8 years of work
experience in analytics in lieu of a Master's degree plus 5 years of experience. Must have experience
with the following: Python, R, and SAS for Data Analysis; Machine Learning & Advanced Statistical
Techniques; Experimental Design & A/B Testing; Optimization Techniques; Cloud-Based Technologies
like GCP, Vertex Al, BigQuery and AWS; Database Operations (Oracle and Teradata) & Data
Engineering; Tableau; hospitality or airline industries, focusing on dynamic pricing strategies for loyalty
programs. Supervises 2 employees.
