A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Create a safe and secure environment for guests and colleagues.
- Conduct floor patrols during tour of duty.
- Enforce all hotel and security rules and regulations.
- Ensure that any violations to law or hotel policy is investigated and reported.
- Act as a member of the Emergency Response Team, responding in cases of fire, accident, safety concerns and calls for medical assistance.
- Respond to all emergency situations and provide First Aid and C.P.R. as required.
What we need from you
- Must enjoy interacting with guests.
- Must have current CPR & First Aid certification or be able to get it within 30 days of employment.
- Ability to communicate with guests in English is essential, a second language would be helpful.
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
- Honest, trustworthy, discreet and careful with confidential information.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
- Must be able to actively patrol property both indoors and out.
- Computer literate. Prefer Microsoft Office proficiency.
