Job Summary:
As a House Car Chauffeur, you will be entrusted with creating a seamless, memorable journey for our distinguished guests as they travel to and from our resort. Your role is more than just transportation—it's about embodying the highest standards of hospitality, ensuring each arrival and departure is a flawless experience that reflects our commitment to luxury and service excellence.

Reporting to the Chef Concierge, your days will be varied and rewarding, with your primary responsibilities including:
- Embody Regent’s Service Philosophy: Reflect our dedication to luxury through your impeccable service and professional demeanor, showcasing the refined style and people attributes that define our brand.
- Exceed Expectations with Every Greeting: Welcome each guest with genuine warmth and professionalism, aiming to surpass their expectations from the moment they arrive until their departure.
- Tailored Arrival Experience: Personalize each welcome, acknowledging returning guests, VIPs, and One Rewards loyalty members, ensuring a distinguished greeting for every arrival.
- Seamless Transitions: Assist with luggage handling and ensure an effortless transition into the resort, setting the tone for an exceptional stay.
- In-depth Knowledge of the Area: Maintain a deep understanding of the resort’s offerings, as well as local attractions, providing guests with accurate recommendations and insights.
- Cross-Department Communication: Work closely with other departments to ensure guest requests are met promptly, contributing to a cohesive guest experience.
- Review and Anticipate Needs: Thoroughly review arrival and departure reports, allowing you to engage meaningfully with each guest.
- Coordinate Seamless Arrivals: Communicate guest arrivals to front-of-house colleagues, facilitating smooth room escorts and a seamless handover.
- Collaborate for Excellence: Partner with the valet and Guest Services team to deliver an exceptional arrival and departure experience, leaving a lasting impression on each guest.
- Engage with Elegance: Interact with guests in a friendly, natural, and refined manner, using their names thoughtfully to maintain a warm yet professional rapport.
- Coordinate with the Concierge: Work closely with the Concierge to arrange transportation needs for in-house guests, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Maintain the Highest Standards for the Vehicle: Ensure the vehicle is maintained in pristine condition, both inside and out. The exterior should be polished to a shine, while the interior remains clean, tidy, and free of any odors.
What We need from you:
- Proven Chauffer experience or a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end establishment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Impeccable grooming and presentation.
- Carrying, pushing, or lifting items weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to stand, stoop, and bend repetitively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Willingness to assist in other areas when necessary and reasonably requested.
- Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What you can expect from us:
The hourly pay range for this role is $28.00, plus tips. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed at Regent Santa Monica Beach. This is the lowest to highest pay scale we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. A colleague’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company’s sole discretion, consistent with the law.
