About this position

This position is responsible for assisting housekeepers in maintaining high standards of quality.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be performing:

• Clean all public areas in the prescribed manner while following safety and security procedures and regulations to include but not limited to: hallways, elevators, service areas, stairwells, etc.
• Remove soiled linen and trash from the service areas and take to the appropriate locations in the prescribed manner.
• Keep all corridors, entrances, vending and laundry areas on guest floors clean and neat.
• Set up and deliver all In Room Dining food and beverage orders as needed in accordance with property’s established guidelines, procedures and policies.
• Provides guests with exceptional service in order to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve all food and beverage trays in order to maintain established sanitation guidelines.
• Services and cleans guest rooms as needed and assigned by Housekeeping Manager. 
• Operates housekeeping cleaning equipment including carpet/floor care tools as assigned.
• Move furniture as necessary.
• Ensure that all equipment is distributed and maintained in proper operating order.
• Ensure that all linen closets are stocked.
• Ensure delivery of guest request items to guest rooms.
• Ensure that trash is collected and disposed of properly.
• Completes overnight checklist and supports front desk team as directed.

What we need from you

• Prior heavy duty cleaning experience preferred.
• 1 year in guest facing hospitality preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in housekeeping is required, preferably in a high volume hotel, conference center or resort.
