Your Day to Day:

As a Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for leading fitness activities, conducting exercise sessions, and engaging guests in fun, dynamic animation programs.  This role requires a combination of fitness expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create an entertaining and motivating environment for guests of all ages.

Some of your responsibilities are:

• Organize and supervise regular gym / fitness related activities and events to maximize members enjoyment / use of fitness studio and to keep ahead with our competition 
• Develop workout programs and health promotion programs according to Hotel standards and safe industry practices 
• Develop and maintain professionally safe and effective fitness procedures, programs and activities in the fitness studio and ensure proper fitness practice at all times 
• Monitor exercising customers and provide fitness assessment and feedback.
• Assist guest in safe exercising and proper body alignment, provide personal training and prescribe workout programs for guest.
• Ensure the cleaning and maintenance of the fitness studio equipment as per standards and equipment is always in good working order 
• Welcome all guests to the gym and provide a gym orientation, including basic fitness assessment.
• Being knowledgeable on gym equipment, exercises and overall health and wellness to be able to guide guests accordingly.
• Organize and lead recreational activities such as dance lessons, beach games, water sports, and team challenges.
• Engage with guests in a fun and interactive manner, ensuring a lively and welcoming atmosphere.
• Adapt activities to suit different age groups, fitness levels, and interests.
• Encourage guest participation and promote fitness and animation programs throughout the resort/hotel
• Understands and strictly adheres to the Rules & Regulations established in the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, and Health & Safety.
• Take initiative always to ensure guest safety and satisfaction, being flexible with taking on other responsibilities as and when required by the hotel operation.

Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for: 

• Qualification in Fitness is mandatory, with Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructor / Gym. 
• Diploma in Health, Fitness, and Exercise Instruction. 
• Previous experience in a similar position in a 4* or 5* hotel within Middle East. 
• Adequate English language communication skills is required
