Director - Finance & Business Support
Crowne Plaza Resort Petra is seeking an experienced Director of Finance & Business Support to lead the finance function and provide effective business support across the Petra operation, including Petra Guest House.
The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager and department leaders to support sound financial decision-making, strong controls, and efficient hotel operations
Key responsibilities
- Lead the finance team and oversee the hotel’s accounting and financial operations.
- Prepare timely financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and business analysis.
- Monitor revenue, costs, cash flow, and financial performance, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with IHG policies and local requirements.
- Support department leaders with financial guidance and performance improvement.
- Coordinate business support activities and work closely with HR, IT, Purchasing, and other functions.
- Develop and support the finance team, encouraging accountability and continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Solid experience in a finance leadership role, preferably within an international hotel environment.
- Previous experience with IHG is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience leading and developing a team.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
