Join us as an HR Supervisor. You will have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. Because, for this vital role, were looking for someone who: - has Sense of hospitality - has prior work experience in hotel - has administrative and interpersonal skills.

 

Your day to day 

•Assist in creating and working within the recruitment budget.

•Ensure open positions are advertised in appropriate venues to attract a diverse candidate pool.

•Ensure the open position listing is in a visible location for both internal and external candidates.

•Assist in establishing and maintaining contact with external recruitment source, i.e. local job service, colleges, recruiting agencies, and community based organizations.

•Network with local organization and peers to source candidates for current or future openings, i.e. Hotel Association.

•Utilize IHG internal recruitment website in job posting and maintain its standard. 

•Oversee the selection and offer processes for employees to ensure proper procedures are followed (e.g., valid reasons for selection/non-selection are documented, applicants receive status notifications).

• Partner with recruiting professionals to make hiring decisions and negotiate job offers in accordance with SOPs.

•Ensure interviews are conducted according to IHG guidelines, consistent screening criteria is used and only job-related questions are asked.

•Ensure background checks are completed in accordance with brand’s standard operation procedures.

•Participate in all employees’ related events such as birthday, service pin parties and celebrate service week, etc.

•Schedule all the internal & external communication meetings

•Responsible of the recognition program (employee of the month / Line Manager and Department of the quarter / Star of the year / Recognition cards)

•Adopt IHG’s Winning Ways and apply them on the hotel’s employees.

•Responsible for all HR events such as birthday, service pin parties and celebrate service week, International Women’s Day etc.

•Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance

•Assist the HR operations in any other assignment that can be delegated.

In charge of compliance with IHG recruitment audit and Responsible labor business audit. 

•Develop and maintain the central employer branding and advertising in cooperation with the marketing communication department.

•Assist in providing the brand promise through committing to the Global Etiquette and the InterContinental life.

•Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and hotel or company policies and procedures.

•Participate in different CSR activities such as giving for good, wellbeing agenda.

•In charge of providing all the benefits per job band, including monthly reporting of the medical subscription.

•Responsible for the Human Resources monthly activities and social media.

•In Charge of the maintenance & cleanliness of Heart Of The House

•Responsible for any activity that reflects on Colleague Heartbeats Survey & employee satisfaction.

•Collect data from HODs & Departmental trainers for the hotel’s talents survey.

•Prepare activities that keep the employees fit & healthy; Sports, etc.

•Maintain updated manpower reports & vacancy trackers.

•Inspection of staff facilities, i.e: lockers, cafeteria & filing

•Assist in investigations & ensure compliance to the rules & regulations of the hotel.

•Ensure compliance with the HR & RLR Audits & any other inspections.

•Ensure service-oriented HR support to all departments.

 

What we need from you

•Strong organization, time management, implementation skills, ethical practice, team player, and communication skills, and attention to details are required skills to perform competently the mentioned job duties.

•Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of related recruiting experience in Human Resources.

•Excellent guest service and outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, networking leveraging referrals and ability to do search recruiting and networking. 

•Professional HR studies preferred.

•Ability to maintain confidentiality to the extent possible in all \Human Resources – related matters.

•Fluent in English.

•Must be familiar with word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email and internet.
