- Personalize wine, spirits, and sake recommendations by genuinely listening to guests and anticipating their needs through observation and showing honest interest in their preferences or past choices. Demonstrate your attentiveness by acknowledging guests and remembering their preferred beverages, even when they return. Seek opportunities to pleasantly surprise guests with small or grand gestures and acts of kindness.
- Collaborate with suppliers to secure the best offers for our beverage list, while minimizing costs without compromising the quality of our products. Support management in reducing the inventory of slow-moving beverage items and provide guidance on revising the beverage menu for our outlets.
- You take great care in maintaining the inventory of Oku restaurant and Wine Cellars, ensuring that they are stocked according to the highest standards. Furthermore, you consistently keep the equipment clean and well-arranged, showcasing your professionalism as a Sommelier through perfectly organized wine cellars.
- Your dedication, professionalism, and attention to detail make you an invaluable asset to the team at Restaurants & Bars. Always live up to the standards set by the Regent brand for both beverage creations and service behaviours. You know the standard operating procedures and how to put the standards into practical use.
- You are familiar with the Forbes Travel Guide Standards that apply to restaurants and bars, and you ensure that these standards are implemented in our service processes. You diligently follow procedures for inventory control, breakage, spoilage, temperature logs, and cleaning tasks. All records are carefully documented, stored appropriately, and any irregularities are promptly reported to management.
- Your attention to detail is evident in your spotlessly clean workspace, impeccable beverage creations, and well-groomed appearance. You possess the knowledge to solve problems on the spot, but also recognize when to seek assistance from colleagues and the management team. You consistently follow up on guest issues and report any problems that arise to management.
- You play a crucial role in creating an inviting atmosphere in Oku and Bar Jade through your exceptional service and attention to ambiance. You ensure that all purchases are accurately processed and in line with the Par Stock level. Additionally, you are responsible for the daily preparation and closing of the restaurant and bar, including stock management and cleaning duties.
